Can pre-existing DSM improve quality in ortophotos?

Gustaf

Hi!
We quite often needs to create ortophotos over partly forrested areas.
As expected the ortophoto gets morphed especially around the edges where there are few overlapping images in different angles.

Is it possible to add a somewhat high res DSM to imporove the photo in this situation?
Noticed something about re-use of DSM when aligning a new task to an existing one, which got me thinking/hoping.

Edges are always problematic; for better quality there, you need to extend the flight area, then crop

Thank you. That is what we do whenever possible, but sometimes we cannot extend. We have come across bird protection areas or neighbors not allowing us to fly over their ground for various reasons.
