Good morning all, I have a dataset flown with DJI M300/P1 camera -90 down that has some distorted roof photos. Unfortunately I am unable to share photos but the lines on a metal roof have some distortion and aren't quite "photo quality" the same dataset was also run in Pix4Dmatic with no distortion. I've done some googling and also tried searching in here and it seems this has been brought up a lot at least in the forums online. I'm still going to plan to keep tweaking the processing settings and try to see if I can't improve it, but my question is in general are there any setting or group of settings that can resolve this? I am running the windows installer version of webodm. I've tried settings PC filter to 2 mesh octree depth to 11 and mesh size 600,000 and Ortho qualities at both 1 & 2 have been tried and I also set use 3D mesh. My last processing run last night I tried changing matching type to brute force and sfm algorithm to planar after reading some older odm forums. Any help is appreciated, I can try my best to provide any other info that is needed
Roof Distortion in Ortho photo

I see roof distortion on occasion with an M4E, but it seems to be tied to the dataset for me. I get stuff like this: https://maps.g5m.org/public/project/16231bcf-da90-418a-99a5-5848c5281c6f/map/?t=orthophoto
I might run another similar dataset, same settings, and roofs look much better. I haven't really dug into it much as it's mostly irrelevant for my purposes.
That's pretty close to what I am seeing and looks like the same type of roof or very similar to the one in my dataset. Thanks for sharing!
What was your pointcloud quality setting? And your min-num-features setting?
Pc quality looks like it was medium and min mumber of features - 10000
Try the High Quality setting and maybe increase the amount of min number of features. But beware, the P1 is a fantastic camera but I know it requires (a lot) of resources if you process a (large) mapping in full resolution.
Thanks for the info!
