Can WebODM process hi-res images?

Question

DJI has a feature on some enterprise drones to take a 'hi-res image'. this consists of using 7x optical zoom and taking say 24 photos instead of 1 wide. Can WebODM stitch these? i tried uploading it for shits & gigs & got '[ERROR] The program could not process this dataset using the current settings. Check that the images have enough overlap, that there are enough recognizable features and that the images are in focus. The program will now exit.'

I think the main issue would be there's no overlap :/ but DJI knows where the images go on the grid - it just doesn't actually stitch anything.

I'm going to guess DJI stitches the images like a panorama; you can't use these images for photogrammetry

Search for Microsoft ICE. That was a stitching project. Think it was an old labs project and had got lost over the years.

I tried it in affinity photo & it couldn't stitch shit bc of no overlap. I asked DJI if the high-res grid can support overlap, and was told no. i guess the only way to do it is with manual capture.

Ice allows you to define a grid order too if there is a flow you might be able to tell it the picture order alternatively there is hugin too

It's been a while but if I'm correct DJI stitches the photos and even delivers a HTML page you can host on your own server / website.

it doesn't actually stitch anything for the high-res grid , but yes it does have the html page- that's what the first screenshot is.
