Big error on GCPs

kvid

I am trying to figure out why GCPs are off by 10+ meters on my project.

The GCPs were collected with Emlid equipment in EPSG:3794 (Slovenia 1996 / Slovene National Grid
) coordinate system with SVS2010 vertical datum.

In GCP Editor Pro I entered "EPSG:3794+8690" as coordinate reference system.

In the report I see that GPS values are way off which might be the root cause of the problem. Is there an option in WebODM to ignore GPS in and rely solely on GCPs?

Please see the attachments.

I'd try with just 3 GCPs to rule out/reduce any issues with tagging or in coordinate acquisition. The program already leaves off GPS data when using GCPs by default

I will reprocess the file during the night with just 3 GCPs like you suggested.

I noticed that for this project CRS is WGS 84 / UTM zone 33N. I assume that project CRS should match to CRS in gcp_list.txt file?

ODX currently will process everything in UTM. If you need native CRS processing in EPSG:3794+8690, for the time being check out Lightning which supports arbitrary coordinate systems webodm.net
