Multispectral processing issues

Julien

Hi,
First of all, thanks for the work done on this amazing software.
I mapped 4 areas on a beach with both RGB and multispectral cameras witth a DJI Mavic 3M.
It was the first time that I needed to process multispectral data.
For that, I used WebODM 3.2.3 on Windows11 (not the Docker version).
As I did not find clear information if I had to separate RGB and multspectral files, I tried the 3 options:
RBG only - MultiS only and RGB&MultiS in a same folder.
I do not have GCP but strong positionning with RTK correction.
The results are quite strange. I made 3 snaphots of the resulting maps.
The difference between MultiS only and RGB&MultiS is quite odd. Did I miss something ?
The "sun" option for the MultiS computation was set to "camera + sun".

Not a dev for WebODM, but have been doing a lot of multispectral processing lately. I had similar issues and had solved this - especially for flat terrains (+ with low to no vegetation) - by activating the "planar"-option with algorithm changed to "brute-force". Give it a shot!

Thanks for the tip. I will try that today.

But, since you have been doing a lot of multispectral processing, how you manage the inputs ? Do you separate RGB files from multispectral ones ?

Perlator

Yes, I keep them in separate tasks.

Ok, thanks for the help. Your parameters seems to work.

You're welcome. Thanks for the feedback.
