Fixing a hole

cornix

A recent model has "hole" in the roof, where a group of points seems to have been lowered / misaligned. Is there a way to find the source of the error, e.g. a misaligned image, and fix it?

That looks like a metal roof. My work has noticed similar problems with metal rooftops.
I suspect maybe reflective spots in the photos.

Reflections, lack of textures. Share the dataset if you can, it can be used for future research efforts to improve the software in a future release

Rooftop is matte, checked images for reflections / glare and didn't find any. Good idea, though.

check, and what about min-num-features (integer) ?

cornix OP

Default: 10000

Maybe you can try and increase this value, for example to 15000. Although it's also interesting to see the individual image on this location. If you can post / copy one of this? And what was your overlap? Did you fly nadir or oblique?

Building modeling, I usually fly oblique circle(s) and another nadir pass. Mini 5 Pro, just it's usually freehand. See image above

cornix OP

Will re-run with 15000 and check.

Dataset is uploading to dronedb

mmm I cant download the complete images folder, only indidividual images. Is that something you can edit?

cornix OP

Hm, seems like you need to have a subscription to mass download. Will check with DDB
