Is it possible to use some kind of internal service for the background maps? I would like to use our own internal maps connected to our projects, and I can provide them trough for instance OGC WMS, XYZ tiles service or likewise.
Looked at the Custom alternative, but could´nt find information on how to use it or if it will allow me to connect to an internal service.

Hi Gustaf, you should be able to setup XYZ (or TMS? it's been a while since I've looked at it) basemaps with the Custom option, you need to specify a URL with the x/y/z variables set, like http://url/ {z} / {x} / {y} .png
If you have more details about your use case, also feel free to add notes to https://github.com/WebODM/WebODM/issues/1761 which could help future improvements in this area
Hi pierotofy, I´m basically looking for what andrewharvey is asking for. I cannot find how to config connection to a XYZ or TMS as a "global" setting to be used for all new projects. I´m probably failing at reading documentation, any hints?
You currently can't set a global setting. But good to know that you also are looking for this, as it seems a common use case and we should implement it
Thank you for the info about whats possible and how you look at the use case. Bing map won´t, however, solve our use case.
