0 free diskspace after Project Processing Failed

Uniqueoperator

webodm new on windows 11, with 12GB ram & 200Gb free disk space (1TB SSD). Been using webodm without any issues for months now. Processing projects just fine with up to 750 jpeg pictures. and yes, takes a while upwards of 10hrs.

"The Problem": created new project and started processing with 700 pics and about 200++Gb free disk space. After about 1hr, it fail due to 0 (zero) free disk space and stopped processing. Check the disk and it has 0 free space. Deleted the Project. Disk still has 0 free space. Rebooted PC and still 0 free disk space.

Is there a procedure to recover disk space other than uninstalling webodm new, delete the C:webodm folder, and reinstall webodm. I have saved the all the assets.zip for each of the projects in a different directory.

Try pressing Tools --> Reset Processing Queue

That work!!! freed up disk space. I'm back to processing ... we'll see what happens at 737 pics ... in a few hours. Thanks for the pointer to a novice ... I'll have to try Lightening as I get the hang of what I'm doing...

If you can its really a good idea to install and run WebODM on a drive other than the C drive, I have my install & webODM project files on my N drive, and that is all that's on there

Cryo Gen .. that is a good suggestion.. IT would have protected or prevented my PC main drive from giving me those panic concerns I was having..

The reset actual worked and actually released Ann additional 50+ Gb probable due to the previous projects when completed and typical reboots held and I didn’t actual see At time..

Here is a positive observation and result off why I choose to stick with webodn new…

The project I started yesterday with 748 jpeg pics, 12M each, took just over 11 hrs to complete.. on my pc with 2 6GPUs, 32G ram, intel i9 …

The end result is excellent for us with limited budgets… until we can justify the add in the Lightening options.. I’m very satisfied with end results… great …
