Hi, i recently updated from a 2.somthing version to the latest. But when trying to download the point cloud I'm receiving the above error. Win error 2 file not found. This is to convert it to a custom espg. Is there a fix for this?
Winerror 2 on downloading pointcloud

Mm, strange. Can you post a screenshot of the error?
Does this help? I did some Googling but its a bit too technical for me!
I can reproduce it. It's probably due to a library not being able to download the projection/geoid information for 2105. I've opened https://github.com/WebODM/WebODM/issues/1969
In the meanwhile, a workaround is to upload the result to Lightning and export from there (it's free). Seems to work there.
Awesome thanks! Will give that a go now
Hi Piero, I see on Github that its been fixed, do i need to wait for the next version release or can i apply it earlier? (also, will the fix apply to all the other point cloud outputs?) Cheers
Unfortunately this hasn't been fixed yet
No stress, we work in areas with poor reception so once its up and running again will be a life saver. (or do you recommend installing an older version in the meantime? )
Older versions have the same issue; as a workaround, perhaps you can do the reprojection with something like QGIS in the meanwhile
No luck, im also having issues with QGIS, Some issue with the proj.db file being a 2 not a 4. I shall have to be patient and wait for a fix your end. Thanks for your help so far!
Should be fixed with the latest version. Update and try again? 🙏
no luck sadly
Thanks for trying; that's my fault, I tested export on the orthophoto asset rather than the point cloud and I thought this was fixed. This will require further attention
ah no stress, appreciate the time and effort your spending on this!
I hate to sound like a real dummy, but how do I go about uploading to lightning?
Is this fixed in 3.2.8?
It's not
